We’re excited to announce that Sonic, the first gaming SVM on Solana will integrate with Jito's new restaking platform for HyperGrid - the infrastructure stack for deploying interoperable SVMs on Solana. The collaboration will bring Jito (Re)staking to two key infrastructures within HyperGrid: HyperGrid Shared State Network(HSSN), and HyperGrid Bridge.
HyperGrid Shared State Network(HSSN)
HSSN is a shared validator network for deployed SVMs(Grids). It provides an interoperability interface for Grids, and as a consensus layer that collects transaction hashes from Grids(e.g. Sonic) and roll up state transitions to Solana.
Jito (Re)staking's Node Consensus Network (NCN) model will add an economic security layer for HSSN validators to securely prevent state collisions, where light sampling and fraud proofs are computed before being pushed to Solana for further validation. This will be an integral part of Sonic SVM, as Sonic will be the first Grid to launch on HyperGrid and utilize HSSN powered with Jito (Re)staking.
HyperGrid Bridge
HyperGrid bridge will integrate Jito (Re)staking's Node Consensus Network (NCN) model, leveraging multi-tiered slashing and customizable staking parameters to enhance their decentralization, economic security, as well as improving the performance of trustless atomic asset swaps between SVMs on Solana. This bridge protocol will be a key infrastructure for the multi-SVM ecosystem, leveraging the shared SVM infrastructure of both chains to ensure high security, efficiency, and reliability.
