Hi there, We are excited to announce that Sonic Odyssey Season 1 has ended and Sonic Odyssey Season 2 is launching on Sonic New Testnet - Frontier V1 on November 8! The new testnet - Frontier V1 is supported by the HyperGrid Shared State Network (HSSN). This upgrade maintains fast transactions and smooth gameplay performance and enhances security, allowing users to trade assets and interact within the game with complete confidence. Follow the steps below to learn more! 🔥
If you’re a returning user of Odyssey, feel free to jump ahead from this point. However, if this is your first time learning about Sonic and Odyssey, continue reading to get familiar with the essentials.
 
Before we dive into the steps, let’s introduce two key resources during the Odyssey: 🎁 Ring Mystery Box and 💫 Sonic Rings.
  • Rings are the primary core resource for future rewards
  • Ring Mystery Box is a key way to obtain Sonic Rings. Complete various tasks to earn Ring Mystery Boxes. You can receive between 1 to 5 rings by opening a Ring Mystery Box.

Sonic Testnet - Frontier V1 Switching Steps

Step 1: Switch the network on the Odyssey page

When you arrive at the Odyssey Page, the network will default to Frontier V1. However, you can easily switch networks using the navigation bar for a quick transition.

You can also switch back to previous networks: Origin or Frontier V0. However, with the end of Season 1, all tasks in both Origin and Frontier V0 are no longer available for completion. That said, you can still view your rewards and open any unopened chests on those networks.

Step 2: Connect your wallet to Sonic Frontier V1

You can connect with OKX Wallet, Backpack Wallet, Bybit Wallet and Nightly Wallet.

How to join Sonic Odyssey Season 2 on Frontier V1

Step 1: Request Sol Test Token on Sonic Frontier V1

To participate in the Sonic Odyssey via Frontier V1, you need to acquire some test SOL as the gas fee. Each wallet can only request test SOL once per day.

Step 2: Complete Tasks in Odyssey Website

Each task is designed to help you explore different aspects of the sonic ecosystem and maximize your Testnet experience.

Follow the instructions below to participate and start earning rewards:

Basic Tasks

Task: Daily Check-in
  • Check in on Sonic daily.
  • Rewards:
    • Check in 1-7 days: 1 x Ring Mystery Box.
    • Check in 8-14 days: 2 x Ring Mystery Box.
    • Check in over 14 days: 3 x Ring Mystery Box.
  • Bybit Web3 users will enjoy an additional Mystery Box for the Daily Check-in task.
Task: TX Milestone
  • Accumulate transactions (tx) for rewards.
  • TX Milestone resets every 24 hours.
  • Rewards:
    • Reach 10 tx: 2 Mystery Box
    • Reach 50 tx: 4 Mystery Boxes
    • Reach 100 tx: 6 Mystery Boxes
  • Bybit Web3 users will enjoy an additional Mystery Box for the TX Milestone task.
