Sonic Testnet - Frontier is an innovative testnet that incorporates the HyperGrid Shared State Network (HSSN) to improve interoperability with the Solana Base Layer. Also, it will gradually integrate more validators into the network.
At present, the network is accessible exclusively to a select group of whitelist users for small-scale testing and feedback collection. If you're interested in participating in the early testing phase, please refer to this document for instructions on how to secure a whitelist spot.
1. Get the [Co-Builder] Role on Sonic Discord
Each week, we will randomly select users from the Discord Co-Builder group to receive Sonic Frontier whitelist access. There are three ways to obtain the Co-Builder role:
- Participate in Regular Co-Builder Events:
- Join events on Sonic Discord, rate Sonic Odyssey and games deployed on Sonic, and provide feedback. We will add the Co-Builder role based on the quality of user feedback.
- Actively Participate in Community Activities:
- Assist in reporting product bugs found in Sonic Odyssey. We will issue the Co-Builder role through a ticket system.
- Join the Sonic Ambassador Program:
- Create local language Sonic tweets and blogs, and help organize community events based on your country and region. Ambassadors will receive additional benefits alongside the Co-Builder role.

2. Achievements in Sonic Odyssey Games
We will select the top 10% of players from Sonic Odyssey games for the Sonic Frontier whitelist:
- JogoJogo:
- Get the whitelist access within Jogojogo’s community based on the contribution. The community manager will handpick core community members for the whitelist.
- FoMoney:
- Rank Top 1 on FoMoney’s leaderboard running on Sonic Origin, and top ranking users on Telegram quest bot will be granted exclusive whitelist access to the Sonic Frontier launch.
- The valid addresses will be announced in FoMoney’s Telegram Announcement Channel.
- SnakeLite:
- Holders of Snake Nest assets will be granted exclusive whitelist access to the upcoming Sonic Frontier launch.
- The first batch of whitelist spots will be reserved for those whose ownership status is snapshotted on July 21st at 4:00 AM UTC and July 30th at 10:00 AM UTC.
Checking Your Whitelist Status
Qualified users can check their whitelist status by logging into Sonic Odyssey. Whitelisted users will see a button to switch to "Sonic Frontier" in the top right corner of the Odyssey interface. You can also find the whitelist addresses on Sonic Discord.
